The broking of listed carbon derivatives is run through Gemini Environmental Markets (GEM) ,the FSA registered arm of the group and was founded
in 2008. GEM conducts transactions primarily on the ICE and NYMEX and has established itself as one of the leading brokers in the carbon market.
The project side of the business is run through Gemini Structured Carbon (GSC) founded in 2005. Along with CDM/JI projects,
GSC is involved with forestry projects and has developed an in house forestry derivatives pricing model.
Currently GSC is marketing two REDD projects (see forestry link) with a derivatives price available.
